Chad Barksdale was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania in 1972. In time his family moved to the western states where he has lived ever since. After graduating from Brigham Young University with a design emphasis in figure drawing and oil painting, Barksdale began a career in Fine Art. His repertoire consists of Still Life, Figurative, Portrait, and Landscape works. As a Representational Realist, he finds his most interesting subjects in the people and natural world around him. He currently resides near the beautiful Wasatch Mountains of Utah.
